About me

I have a very welcoming attitude and the gift to build a trustful atmosphere easily. I am fascinated by the unique dispositions that I perceive in every single person. Especially when you think you are different than all the others or have some sort of neurodivergencies you are very welcome.

Being a highly sensitive person myself it took me many years to accept me as I am and organise my life in a way that allows me to enjoy life to the fullest. On this path Gestalttherapy was a life-changing experience for me. Since 12 years I have devoted my work to helping others developing their personality, becoming free of old obstructive habits and feel their needs.

In our sessions we will talk, be explorative and also experimental. Whatever happens is welcome and usually the "here and now" guides us to new insights. You are invited and supported in feeling your emotions. I am creative in suggesting new experiments that allow you to feel yourself alive in different ways than you have done before.

I have experienced in many ways that the body is a precise reflection of continued painful emotions and negative thought-patterns. In the sessions I will guide you through new body-experiences and awareness.

I am running a men's work group and a lot of my clients seek help for better relationships. I am familiar with various topics around sexuality, sex-positivity and love.

Being an open-minded and curious person I draw also upon my own life experience and a spiritual view of the world.

In my previous work life I have been an IT-manager and employee in various companies for 15 years, so I know first-hand the challenges of adjusting work and life. I am 57 and have two already grown up kids. I am commuting between my two homes in Germany/Cologne and Italy/Bolzano.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
Body therapyRecommended for those who want to connect their mind and body to release stress or trauma through physical sensations and movement.
Gestalt therapyRecommended for those who want to focus on the present and take responsibility for their feelings and actions to promote personal growth.

The aim of my approach is to create space for your current needs and emotions. We explore the situation at hand with an integrative, holistic approach based on humanistic psychology using methods from talk therapy, body work, breathwork, focusing, gestalttherapy, inner child work and solution-focused systemic coaching. Especially the wisdom of the body provides us with an excellent source to feel and change emotions and obstructive patterns. This may include looking at psychosomatic disorders/diseases and how to overcome them.

I believe for a successful therapy the relationship between us is most important. There is a famous saying by Martin Buber: "A person only becomes a self through encountering the other" (Der Mensch wird am Du zum Ich).

Gestalttherapy is the frame that allows you to become more aware of your life and develop your full potential. The focus is on the present situation. On the "how" rather than on the "why". Past events have shaped us and it is helpful to know/feel a little bit about the past, e.g. with inner child work. However, changes are taking place in the present. So I will support you in having new experiences with yourself and others.

Costs: In the first session we get to know each other for 30 minutes and is free of charge. A regular session lasts 60mins. Online session cost is 100€. Feel free to ask if you have further questions.
