Approach

Treatment Approaches
CBT: Cognitive behavioural therapyRecommended for those looking for practical support and accountability to change unhelpful thinking and behaviors.
DBT: Dialectical behaviour therapyRecommended for those who want to learn skills to manage intense emotions and improve their relationships, especially if they feel easily overwhelmed.
Trauma informed careRecommended for those who have experienced trauma and need a safe, supportive space to heal at their own pace.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, intense emotions, or relationship challenges, you don’t have to navigate it alone. I work with individuals, couples, and families to build practical tools that create real, lasting change.

Using evidence-based approaches like Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I help clients better manage difficult emotions, strengthen relationships, and develop healthier thought and behavior patterns. Our work together focuses on building resilience, improving coping skills, and helping you feel more balanced and in control of your life.

I’m committed to staying current with the latest research and therapeutic techniques so I can provide care that is both effective and compassionate. My goal is to create a supportive, collaborative space where you feel understood, empowered, and capable of meaningful growth.

Experience

As a Therapist at Higher Ground Behavioral Health, I provided client-centered therapy to children, adolescents, and families navigating anxiety, behavioral challenges, grief and loss, and emotional regulation difficulties. I developed individualized treatment plans, conducted assessments, and delivered individual and family therapy focused on meaningful, measurable growth.

Prior to my clinical work, I served as a U.S. Army Career Counselor and Senior Program Manager, where I delivered structured, goal-oriented counseling to individuals facing major life transitions. I collaborated closely with families, educators, and leadership to assess strengths, address barriers, and create clear action plans—experience that informed my practical, supportive, and solution-focused approach to therapy.
