I'm a qualified Art Therapist (MA, HCPC, BAAT) and my background includes roles in educational settings, mental health charities, and community art programmes, where empathy and creativity are central to promoting wellbeing and personal transformation.
Prior to becoming an Art Therapist I was an Illustrator and Designer which led me to conduct art and wellbeing programmes for children and adults in the charity sector who suffered from depression and mental health challenges.
I'm passionate about supporting people in their journey, working holistically by focusing on the mind, body and emotions.
My therapeutic approach is person-centred, trauma-informed, and grounded in psychodynamic and relational principles. I aim to create a safe and supportive space where clients can explore their inner world.
Sitting alongside the person to understand emotional, psychological, and social needs. Based on these insights, I set therapeutic goals in collaboration with the client. Throughout the process, I guide the person with sensitivity, fostering self-reflection and emotional regulation.
Sessions may include spontaneous or structured exercises, always adapted to the client's pace and preferences.
My role is to hold a safe emotional container, build trust, and accompany the client with empathy and clinical awareness throughout their journey toward healing and self-discovery.
