My name is Kat. I am an integrative counsellor/ Counselling Psychologist in my final year of doctorate degree. For many years I was interested in psychology, difficulty in living, well-being and individual abilities to adapt to life challenges and grow from them. I like the idea of "becoming a therapist as one that is never finished, always becoming". Continues learning and self-development is my passion. My knowledge and experience merged into the conclusion that the complexity of life shapes our characteristics. Everyone holds a particular vision of reality deeply embedded in their upbringing and cultural, social and political climate. This personal philosophy through which we see the world shapes our beliefs and values and is never without an influence on who we are and what we do. The experience of the therapeutic relationship provides one more perspective on this worldview, gradually helping us to become more open to facing our fears and vulnerabilities and finding new meanings. The primacy of relationship and collaboration is in the centre of my therapeutic practice.
Our "difficulty in living" is not uncommon and often confronts us with the uncomfortable need to ask for support. As much as it can be difficult, it is also very courageous to do so. It can facilitate a journey to the unknown territory of our mind where positive changes may happen.

I am an integrative therapist, trained in psychodynamic therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), third-wave CBT, and systemic modalities.
The primacy of relatedness and quality of relationship remains at the centre of my therapeutic practice.
The therapy result is our joint effort, and you are an expert in your life. I offer non-judgmental, emphatic help. A safe, confidential space where you can explore existing difficulties and their meaning in the context of your life. I believe that the felt experience of tension and suffering which is so characteristic of the difficulty can be as much the source point of novelty, possibility, and creativity. Therefore, I like to put the emphasis in my practice towards enabling your personal growth, improving self-acceptance, and fostering hope. However, we will work together to decide on the main focus and direction of therapy. Whether we should focus more on the past or present will depend on the nature of the problem. My therapeutic approach will be tailored to your needs.
