I am a Greek licensed Psychologist (MSc at the University of Central Lancashire and BSc at the University of East London (qualified member of the British Psychological Society & Belgian Psychological Society) and Sociologist (BSc at the Panteion University of Athens). I am offering psychological counselling sessions for adults, teenagers, athletes, dancers, military personnel and also for caregivers of people with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. I completed my internship at an organization in Poland (PSONI) where I worked in a school with people with special needs and neuropsychological deficits, so I know the importance of mental support for these people and their families. I also hold a certificate in sports psychology (psychological intervention techniques) from Barcelona’s official team – Barca Innovation Hub Universitas – and an official certificate in the fundamentals of pharmacology from Harvard Medical School (HMX). The psychological approach I work with is CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) and mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapy. I obtained my certification from the Kapodistrian University of Athens. I have also introduced a scientific method combining yoga postures and classical music to help people with dementia and Alzheimer’s by improving their sensorimotor skills while enabling them to access the physical exercise they need. I also make home visits to offer certain sessions yoga therapy sensorimotor sessions. All the sessions can be contacted in French/English/Greek/Italian.
The therapeutic Approach I am following is the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
