Hi, I’m Dana, and I’m a psychotherapist based in Bucharest. My journey into this work began with a deep passion for theater and storytelling, which gave me a unique perspective on the emotional world we all share. Over time, that path led me to psychotherapy—where I now support individuals and couples in exploring their own inner stories with curiosity and care. I work with people experiencing anxiety, panic, depression, and relational difficulties. I believe it’s especially important to help people uncover the stories they’ve learned to tell themselves—stories that often unconsciously cause pain or keep them stuck. When we begin to see these stories clearly, change becomes possible. My approach is engaging and creative, which means we go beyond just talking—we sometimes will explore what you're feeling in the present moment, using different expressive and artistic tools depending on what resonates with you. More than anything, I aim to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported—so that together, we can begin to shift old patterns and open up new possibilities. If this speaks to you, I’d be happy to connect."
My therapeutic style is grounded in presence, creativity, and collaboration. I work experientially, which means I support clients in not just talking about their experiences, but also feeling, expressing, and exploring them in the here and now. I believe that healing happens through connection—both within ourselves and in relationship with others—so I aim to create a safe, attuned space where clients can be fully seen and heard.
In our work together, I draw from artistic and expressive tools to help unlock emotion, deepen awareness, and invite new ways of relating to longstanding patterns. Whether we are using words, movement, imagery, or breath, my approach is always tailored to what resonates with each individual or couple. I bring curiosity, compassion, and a deep respect for each person’s unique process, and I see therapy as a co-creative space where meaningful change can unfold. In particular situations I also use techniques aiming to bring relief from invalidating symptoms (e.g. CBT techniques, schema therapy).
