'm Valeria Greco, a licensed clinical psychologist based in Buenos Aires with over 15 years of experience working at the intersection of trauma, the body, and neuroscience. My clinical roots are in somatic experiencing and EMDR (trained since 2012), and over the years I've integrated DBT, Internal Family Systems principles, and a Psycho-Immuno-Neuro-Endocrinology (PINE) framework into my practice. I'm currently completing a Master's degree in PINE at Universidad Favaloro, where my thesis validates a somatic group intervention protocol I developed — Somma Flow — through a randomized controlled trial. I work with adults navigating complex trauma, dissociation, emotional dysregulation, and the long-term effects of adverse experiences. My clients often arrive having tried talk therapy alone and feeling like something is still "stuck" — that's exactly where I feel most at home. I co-direct Eluanen Buenos Aires, a mental health center with an integrative clinical approach, and I lead Somma, my own practice and professional training brand focused on somatic, trauma-informed work. Beyond the consulting room, I'm passionate about making rigorous, evidence-based somatic therapy accessible — both to clients and to the mental health professionals who want to incorporate these tools into their own practice. I present at national congresses (including APSA), collaborate with researchers in the psychedelic-assisted therapy field, and run training programs for clinicians through Somma Formación Profesional.
My therapeutic approach is integrative, body-centered, and deeply relational. I believe that lasting change happens not just through insight, but through the body — through shifting the patterns held in the nervous system, not only the narrative held in the mind. In practice, this means I draw on EMDR for trauma processing, somatic experiencing and bilateral stimulation to work with activation and dissociation, and DBT-based tools for emotional regulation. I integrate a PINE lens — understanding how stress, trauma, and resilience live in the body at a physiological level — to help clients make sense of their experience beyond psychology alone. Sessions with me tend to feel structured but warm. I'm present, direct, and collaborative — I'll share my clinical reasoning with you because I believe you deserve to understand what we're doing and why. Depending on what you need, we might move between processing difficult memories, building practical regulation skills, or working with body sensations as they arise in real time. I work with adults individually, and I also facilitate group somatic programs for those who want to heal in community. I offer sessions in Spanish and can work with Spanish-speaking clients worldwide via video. My approach is affirming, non-pathologizing, and grounded in the latest trauma neuroscience.
