Hola! I'm a Dutch Institute of Psychologists registered professional using evidence based approaches to help expats and globally minded people reach their mental health goals, whatever they may be!
Feeling at home can be challenging when you've lived across cultures. As a therapist who grew up between Argentina and the U.S. and has studied in Europe and Brazil, I understand these unique experiences of expats, third-culture kids, and digital nomads. My experience has cultivated my passion for creating a safe, affirming space for people with this global mindset and lifestyle which I've really enjoyed.
Therapy changed my life, and I know firsthand how transformative it can be to feel truly understood and heal the scars of the past. My style is warm, affirming, and inclusive of all types of diversity—gender, sexuality, identity, culture, you name it!
I work 100% online, making therapy accessible wherever you may be. I primarily offer sessions in English and Spanish but also speak Italian and Portuguese fluently, so I'm happy to integrate multiple languages if it feels natural for you.
In my free time I enjoy traveling (obviously), theater, drawing, and spending time with my dog!
I believe therapy should be a collaborative and practical process, grounded in evidence-based techniques and tailored to your unique needs. Together, we’ll work toward tangible goals to help you feel more at ease, empowered, and aligned with your authentic self.
At the core of my approach is schema therapy, which explores the deeply held beliefs and patterns that shape your emotions and behaviors. If past experiences still affect you today, we’ll work to understand and reshape those patterns so they no longer hold you back. For trauma processing, I primarily use imagery rescripting, a powerful tool that can help reframe distressing memories and reduce their emotional impact.
I value the wisdom of emotions—validating your experiences while helping you gain insight into where they come from and how to reduce their negative effects over time. Between sessions, I often offer journal prompts, reflective questions, or practical exercises to support your growth beyond our conversations.
Some of the areas I work with include: Burnout and career challenges Anxiety and depression symptoms Low self-confidence International moves & cultural adjustment Gender and sexuality exploration Panic attacks and emotional regulation Developing a deeper connection with emotions Family and relationship dynamics Boundary setting Grief and loss Life direction and personal growth
Therapy isn’t just about managing difficulties—it’s about creating a life that feels fulfilling and true to you. If you’re ready to take that next step, I’d love to support you!
