I'm a therapist that has worked with a wide range of clients. This includes working with issues such as: depression, psychosis, abuse, personality disorders, and burnout.
Having been raised in a multicultural environment and working with a number of different cultural backgrounds has enabled me to exercise my therapeutic skills in unique ways to help clients.
Meeting clients where they are and tailoring interventions to their particular needs is a defining characteristic of my therapeutic approach. To this end, collaborative goal-setting, empathic and active listening, frequent feedback, and a holistic psychological evaluation all play an important role in my practice.
I am trained mostly in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as well as EFT (Emotionally-Focused Therapy). Prioritizing empathy, identifying harmful thoughts and emotions, collaborative developing healthier ways of thinking, and promoting clients' mental well-being are all key components of my therapeutic approach.
