I help people heal their relationship with food, body and self through somatic therapy, parts work and nervous-system-informed support.
I’m a somatic therapist and nutritionist supporting people who feel stuck in cycles of emotional eating, bingeing, restriction, body shame, self-criticism, and disconnection from themselves. My work is rooted in the belief that our bodies are not the problem, they are just carrying old survival strategies, unmet needs, emotional overwhelm, and protective patterns that once made sense.
My background combines somatic therapy, holistic health, nutrition-informed support, client care, coaching, and lived understanding of how complex our relationships with food and body can become. I’m especially interested in the places where nervous system capacity, emotional safety, body image, and eating patterns meet. Through my brand, Becoming Wilder, I support clients in moving beyond control, shame, and “fixing” themselves, and towards deeper self-trust, capacity, aliveness, and compassion.
Rather than focusing only on mindset or behaviour change, I help clients explore what is happening underneath the pattern: the part that binges, restricts, numbs, rebels, criticises, hides, or feels afraid to be fully seen. My work is gentle, collaborative, and body-based, while still being practical and grounded.
My therapeutic style is warm, compassionate, curious, and collaborative. I work through a somatic and parts-based lens, which means we don’t just talk about what is happening (though of course important), we also listen to how it shows up in the body, the nervous system, emotions, urges, sensations, and protective patterns.
I support clients to build capacity rather than force change. This may include exploring body sensations, emotional triggers, food and body-image patterns, inner critic parts, shame, binge/restrict cycles, and the survival responses that sit underneath them. I often use somatic inquiry, nervous-system education, parts work, bilateral-style processing, grounding practices, reflective exercises, and gentle between-session tools.
My work is not about willpower, perfection, or becoming a more controlled version of yourself. It is about understanding why certain patterns developed, creating more internal space, and building a relationship with yourself that feels less like a battle. I aim to help clients feel more connected to their body, more able to meet difficult emotions and urges, and more trusting of themselves in everyday life.
