About me

My own journey has been defined by movement, adaptation, and the search for a sense of place, belonging and peace. Originally from Zambia, my path has taken me through Malawi, the UK, and Denmark before I settled in Australia nine years ago. Living across five different countries has taught me that "home" isn't always a simple concept. I know firsthand what it takes to navigate new systems, understand different cultural expectations, and reinvent yourself in unfamiliar territory. This global perspective deeply informs my work: I understand that life transitions, whether moving across the world or shifting careers, bring a complex mix of excitement and anxiety. Professionally, I bring over 10 years of experience and a truly diverse toolkit to my practice. My roots are in Social Work, which allows me to see the pressures of your environment. I expanded this with a Master’s degree in Counselling (Australia) for clinical depth, and training as a Life Coach for practical strategy. Additionally, I completed three years of pastoral leadership studies, which grounded me in the human search for meaning, purpose, and connection. I work best with people who are navigating the "in-between" spaces of life. Whether you are a professional feeling the weight of high expectations, or someone trying to find your footing after a major life change, I offer a holistic approach. I am here to help you integrate the different parts of your story—mental, practical, and spiritual; to help you build a life that feels authentically yours.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
CoachingRecommended for those who want support and motivation to achieve personal or professional goals, often with a structured, goal-oriented approach.
Integrative therapy Recommended for those who prefer a flexible approach that combines different therapies to meet their unique needs.
Person-centered approachRecommended for those looking for a supportive, non-judgmental space where they can lead the conversation and explore their feelings at their own pace.
A Hybrid Model: Where Deep Insight Meets Practical Action I believe that true change happens at the intersection of understanding why we are stuck and learning how to move forward. Traditional therapy can sometimes feel like an endless exploration of the past, while life coaching can sometimes rush to solutions without understanding the root cause. My approach bridges this gap. I integrate the clinical depth of a Licensed Counsellor with the forward-focused strategy of a Life Coach. For the high-functioning professional, this means we don’t just talk about your anxiety, depression or dissatisfaction; we actively work to transform it. How We Work Together 1. The "Whole Person" Lens (Context & Systems) Drawing on my background in Social Work, I view your struggles through a systemic lens. You do not exist in a vacuum. We will look at how your workplace culture, family dynamics, and social environment impact your well-being. I don’t just treat symptoms; I help you navigate the systems you live in. 2. Psychological Safety & Depth (Counselling) With a Master’s Degree in Counselling, I provide a clinically safe space to explore the "complicated" parts of your life. Whether it is unresolved trauma, deep-seated relationship patterns, or the pressure to perform, we will do the deep work required to heal the roots of your presenting issue. This is a judgment-free zone where you can drop the professional mask and be your real self. 3. Meaning & Values (Pastoral & Existential) Success without fulfilment is a common struggle for my clients. Drawing on my Pastoral Leadership studies, I hold space for the big questions: Who am I outside of my career? What do I actually value? We will work to align your life with your internal compass, ensuring that your next steps feel authentic and meaningful. 4. Strategy & Accountability (Coaching) Insight is essential, but action changes lives. As a Life Coach, I will help you translate our sessions into the real world. We will set concrete goals, develop communication strategies for your relationships, and create a roadmap for your career transitions. I will be in your corner, challenging you to take the steps that scare you but grow you. Who This Is For: My style is best suited for individuals who are ready to take responsibility for their own lives. You might be a professional who looks successful on paper but feels fragmented inside. You are willing to be honest, willing to be challenged, and willing to do the work, both in the room and out in the world. In short: We will go deep, but we will also move forward.
