I am a Registered Counsellor with a deep passion for supporting individuals through life’s challenges in a compassionate, non-judgemental, and collaborative way. My goal for counselling is to create a safe and supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, accepted, and empowered to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences.
My connection to this profession is shaped not only by my academic and professional training but also by a genuine understanding and experience of the complexities of mental health. This perspective allows me to approach my work with deep empathy, authenticity, and sensitivity. I am committed to helping you because I know what it feels like to be where you are.
I know that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, and sometimes even a little scary. You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting. Just come as you are, and we can figure out the rest together. My role is to walk alongside you, supporting you in making sense of your experiences, building resilience, and working towards a life that feels more manageable and meaningful.
I obtained my Bachelor's of Psychology degree through SACAP and I graduated with a distinction (Cum-Laude)
I take an integrative approach to therapy, drawing on a range of evidence-based techniques to meet your unique needs. I believe that no two individuals are the same, and therefore therapy should be tailored to you , your story, your strengths, and your goals. Whether you are navigating emotional distress, life transitions, relationship difficulties, or seeking personal growth, I aim to walk alongside you in a way that feels supportive and meaningful.
I draw on Cognative Behavioural Theraph, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, and Somatic Therapy techniques. These help you understand your thoughts and emotions, build coping skills, and develop healthier patterns and find stillness so that you can navigate challenges with greater clarity, balance, and confidence.
My current expertise are managing anxiety, low mood, stress, addiction, relationship issues, burnout, grief, school/career related concerns, trauma and trauma processing and over all wellbeing and becoming a better version of yourself.
