I have worked as Clinical Neuropsychologist with people with psychyatric disorders and now I help people who suffered brain damage finding the way to rebuild they're new identity. Besides that, I have a private pratice as a Transpersonal Therapist where I support the person finding his/hers/theirs true Self. For eight years I have worked and lived with people with special needs, in a therapeutic community. This experience had a profound impact in the way I think, feel or act with other human beings. Living 24/24 with people with a different way of thinking than usual allowed me to better understand the beauty of being and the human mind. I love nature, reading, meditation and arts, specially theatre and dance. Since the beginning of my professional career I have been involved in therapeutic theater groups as an assistant and as a director. Because of this, I decided to study a specific technique for actors, that I now teach and use when I act on stage.
My guiding star is Transpersonal Psychology which is a branch of psychology that recognizes and accepts spirituality as an important dimension of the psyche and the universal scheme of things. The term “transpersonal” means “going beyond the personal or individual”, in this way, Transpersonal Psychology invites us to transcend the mind, that is, to transpose identification with your individuality through non-ordinary states of consciousness. To transcend the mind, in my practice, I use different techniques such as meditation, breathing, imagination, drama therapy or narrative therapy, which allow's you to be in the present moment, observing yourself as an object - producer of thoughts and sensations - and, thus, be able to disidentify from the preconceived ideas you create about yourself, allowing intuition to guide you and allow connection with the experience as a whole.
