About me

I spent my childhood in the countryside, a place where I fell in love with nature and developed an endless curiosity for everything around me. I feel that I gave my hometown and the nature of my childhood the most authentic version of myself: the one from the long days and warm summer evenings, in a world so small and beautiful in its simplicity. Now, when almost nothing seems as simple and eternal as it once did, I seek peace in mountain hikes, bike and camping trips, walks in the forest, dancing, outings with friends, and all kinds of activities that make me feel good.

My well-being is also that piece of childhood that I manage to carry within me and everywhere I go across the wide world, which I’ve been exploring since I was 19. It constantly reminds me to enjoy the little pleasures of life and to let myself be fascinated by everything the world has to offer. When I need a break from everything around me, it’s that same part that urges me to take refuge, like in the old days, in the boundless universe of books. I have always discovered the most beautiful stories in nature, books, and people. For the sake of these stories and my love for people, I chose to follow the path of psychotherapy after 6 years of studying engineering and another 4 years working in the field. To this day, I feel that this is the most natural and best decision I have ever made for myself.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
ACT: Acceptance and commitment therapyRecommended for those who want to stop fighting negative thoughts and learn how to live with more acceptance and focus on what really matters in life.
CBT: Cognitive behavioural therapyRecommended for those looking for practical support and accountability to change unhelpful thinking and behaviors.

In my daily practice, I use a combination of cognitive-behavioral and acceptance & commitment therapy methods with my clients when the therapeutic process starts. The cognitive-behavioral approach involves analyzing thought patterns, behaviors and emotions that the client wants to improve and offering concrete solutions on how to improve them. As for the acceptance & commitment approach, it helps me make sure that each client accepts the things he/she cannot change and is able to live a happy, content life with the current circumstances. Since I am currently being profesionally trained in psychoanalysis, I like to combine these two approaches with dream analysis, accessing the subconscious and working with the deeper insights which the client brings into the session.
