About me

I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy). I have a particular interest in identity, culture, belonging, and how experiences and trauma shape the way we relate to ourselves and others.

My academic background is in intercultural communication and focused on language, identity, and discourse, which continues to inform my understanding of how culture, family, gender, migration, and social expectations can influence our wellbeing. I am committed to working in a culturally sensitive and inclusive way and welcome clients from all backgrounds. Like many people from migrant societies, I exist in-between cultures, having moved to the UK from Albania at the age of 19.

Therapy helped me find my sense of self in my late twenties and a decade later I started my therapy training. Self awareness and self acceptance bring me hope. Helping others in their search for peace, is a privilege and a joy.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
Integrative therapy Recommended for those who prefer a flexible approach that combines different therapies to meet their unique needs.

I practice integrative counselling and therapy and trained at the University of East London. My clinical training placed a strong emphasis on respecting each person's choices, experiences, and way of seeing the world. Learning alongside a diverse group of students encouraged open conversations about difference, identity, privilege, and the impact these can have on people's lives. This helped me develop greater awareness of my own assumptions and reinforced the importance of approaching every client with curiosity, respect, and humility. In my work, I aim to create a space where people feel heard, valued, and empowered to find their own way forward.
