I am a Clinical Psychologist trained in Clinical Psychology Focused Body Psychotherapy at Maltepe University – NHS Foundation Trust collaboration in Istanbul, Türkiye. Over the course of my professional journey, I have worked in various settings including NGOs such as KAÇUV, TEGV, and World Human Relief, as well as psychiatric and neurological hospitals and private psychology clinics. I was also actively involved in fieldwork following the devastating February 6th Kahramanmaraş earthquake, providing psychological support to affected communities.
Currently based in Germany, I provide individual therapy sessions for adults, primarily in Turkish. My clinical approach is grounded in psychodynamic and psychoanalytic psychotherapy, with a focus on creating a reflective and non-judgmental therapeutic space.
My main areas of interest include trauma, migration and acculturation processes, women’s rights, relational and family dynamics, anxiety, and panic disorders. I am committed to supporting individuals in navigating emotional difficulties, processing past experiences, and developing deeper self-understanding.
Therapy is a profound journey of self-discovery and healing — and I would be honored to accompany you on that path.
I work with psychodynamic and psychoanalytic psychotherapy methods. In our first one or two sessions, my aim will be to get to know you and understand the context of your life. As we move forward, we will explore the reasons that brought you to therapy, your unconscious conflicts, past experiences, dreams, and the emotional patterns that shape your inner world.
Throughout our work together, I will listen carefully, reflect with you, and ask questions when needed — always with the intention of deepening our shared understanding. You will not be alone in this process; we will be in it together.
