About me

My path into psychotherapy has been shaped by living and training in different countries. I began studying psychology in Greece and later moved to the United Kingdom to complete my postgraduate studies in clinical psychology and psychotherapy.

Living and working in different countries has deeply shaped the way I understand people and the world. These experiences have taught me about change, belonging, loss, and the quiet courage it takes to begin again in unfamiliar places. After several years in the UK, I eventually moved to Copenhagen, which I now call home.

My journey into psychotherapy grew not only from academic training but also from a personal interest in questions of meaning, identity, and how we make sense of our lives when things feel uncertain or painful. Alongside my training in existential psychotherapy, I have worked in community mental health settings, private practice, and psychoeducational work. I currently offer remote therapy as a counsellor at Headstrong Counselling in London and provide one-to-one therapy for adults in Copenhagen. I also facilitate workshops in Copenhagen, where I translate existential ideas into accessible, reflective, and practical ways of understanding ourselves and relating to others.

Having lived between cultures and languages, I hold a deep respect for each person’s unique story. I aim to create a warm, grounded, and reflective therapeutic space where clients can explore identity, relationships, emotional resilience, and life transitions with depth and curiosity. I support clients in engaging with both their inner emotional world and their lived experience, working collaboratively to foster insight, self-understanding, and meaningful change.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
CounsellingRecommended for those who want to talk through their emotional challenges with a professional in a safe, supportive environment.
Existential analysisRecommended for those who are searching for deeper meaning in life or are struggling with big questions about existence, freedom, and purpose.
Integrative therapy Recommended for those who prefer a flexible approach that combines different therapies to meet their unique needs.

I am a psychologist and counsellor with a strong clinical and academic grounding, working at the intersection of existential psychotherapy, trauma-informed care, and psychological assessment. I support clients in exploring profound questions around identity, relationships, emotional resilience, freedom, responsibility, and life transitions. Rather than focusing solely on symptom reduction, I work with clients to deepen self-understanding, clarify values, and cultivate a more authentic and meaningful engagement with life. My approach is experiential and reflective, inviting clients to slow down, attend to their embodied and emotional experience, and develop a more compassionate relationship with themselves. I integrate dialogue, reflective inquiry, and experiential exercises to support insight, emotional processing, and integration.

My work is trauma-informed, meaning that I prioritise emotional safety, pacing, and stabilisation, while remaining sensitive to the impact of past experiences on present functioning and relational patterns. I aim to meet each client as a unique individual, adapting my style to their needs, capacities, and cultural context. Across all my clinical work, I value the healing potential of authentic human encounter and view therapy as a shared journey toward greater self-awareness, emotional freedom, and a more meaningful way of being in the world.

Experience

I work remotely as a counsellor at Headstrong Counselling in London, where I offer one-to-one existential psychotherapy to adult clients. In this role, I support individuals in exploring issues such as anxiety, low mood, identity, relationships, emotional resilience, and life transitions. My work is grounded in a relational, trauma-informed approach and shaped by existential values. Alongside my remote clinical work in the UK, I offer one-to-one therapy to adults in Copenhagen, where I also facilitate psychoeducational workshops in collaboration with Depressionsforeningen (the Danish Depression Association). These workshops are informed by existential theory and are designed to translate complex psychological and philosophical ideas into accessible and engaging formats. Earlier in my career, I worked as an Assistant Psychologist in Athens, where I gained experience in psychological assessment, case formulation, and treatment planning within a clinical setting. I also completed a long-term internship with the Society of Social Psychiatry and Mental Health in Athens, contributing to community-based mental health services, intake assessments, and multidisciplinary clinical work. These roles provided me with a strong grounding in applied clinical psychology, ethical practice, and working with diverse client populations, and they continue to inform my therapeutic sensitivity and clinical perspective today.

Education

I am currently in the fourth year of my MSc in Psychotherapy Studies and Diploma in Existential Psychotherapy at the New School of Psychotherapy and Counselling (NSPC), in partnership with Middlesex University. This is a UKCP-accredited training programme that integrates rigorous academic study with extensive supervised clinical practice. Prior to my psychotherapy training, I completed an MSc in Foundations of Clinical Psychology at the University of Newcastle in the UK. This degree provided me with a strong grounding in psychological theory, research methods, and clinical assessment. My master’s dissertation explored the effects of secondary traumatic stress on episodic memory and the role of empathy, reflecting my long-standing interest in trauma, emotional processes, and the impact of relational dynamics on psychological wellbeing.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Crete in Greece. During my undergraduate studies, I developed a broad and solid foundation in psychopathology, neuropsychology, and mental health.
