About me

I became a therapist because I know how life-changing it is to feel truly met, and how challenging it can feel to try to make changes without support. I bring six years of clinical experience as an LCSW, with specialized training in Emotionally Focused Couple's Therapy, Mindfulness-Based, Psychodynamic, and Trauma-Focused CBT. But what truly informs my work is the embodiment of it; I’ve done the healing work myself, which means I bring not just knowledge, but a deep understanding of what this process really asks of us, and how to navigate our own resistance to it. I work best with people who are tired of feeling stuck and are ready to step into a more empowered, joyful, and liberated version of themselves. While we’ll absolutely make space for the hard and painful parts, I also believe in the power of joy, levity, and play as vital forces for healing -- sometimes even more transformative than the "deep work" itself. Together, we’ll untangle what’s no longer serving you, build practical tools, create meaningful action steps, and reimagine the stories that have kept you small. No quick fixes. No pretending. Just honest, wholehearted work that helps you feel more alive in your own life.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
EFT: Emotionally focused therapyRecommended for couples or individuals who want to strengthen emotional connections in relationships by exploring feelings and attachment.
Humanistic psychologyRecommended for those looking for a therapy that emphasizes personal growth and self-fulfillment, focusing on becoming your best self in a positive, non-judgmental space.
IFS: Internal Family SystemsRecommended for those who want to explore and heal the different parts of themselves that might feel conflicted or overwhelmed.
Therapy with me is warm, collaborative, and real. I’m here to help you break free from patterns that aren’t serving you, reconnect with what matters most, and start showing up for your life in a way that feels true to you. I don’t believe in fixing you — because you’re not broken. I believe in guiding you back home to yourself. If you often feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in your own head, I’ll help you build tools to move through those emotions without letting them take over. We’ll work together to shift the way you relate to your thoughts and feelings, so you can feel more grounded, more present, and more you. With couples, my approach emphasizes getting to the root cause of the issues -- the root emotions and needs underlying the tension -- and helping to identify and resolve the negative patterns that have perpetuated the struggle. It isn't about blame, but rather, aiding each individual in identifying their role in the pattern, and taking responsibility for changing their own behaviors that contributes to the issues. I treat couples as a team, and aid them in being able to approach their relationship as teammates rather than competitors. I don’t do one-size-fits-all therapy. I meet you exactly where you are — with curiosity, compassion, and zero judgment. We’ll explore the stories you’ve been carrying, untangle the ones that are holding you back, and create space for new, more empowering ones to take root. My goal isn’t just to help you feel better — it’s to help you feel fully alive. If you’re ready to slow down, get honest, and start living from a place of deeper truth, I’d be honored to walk that path with you.

Experience

6 years in practiceOver 1 year at It's Complicated
Before opening my private practice, I spent two years working in adolescent and adult addiction treatment centers, followed by three years in a community mental health center. Through this experience, I’ve had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, including those navigating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, and family dynamics. I’m also passionate about supporting LGBTQ+ clients, creating an affirming space where they feel seen, understood, and empowered.

In 2019, I graduated with a 4.0 GPA from Barry University in Miami Florida with my Master's in Social Work, where I also served as Student Social Work Association President.
