About me

I am a psychologist, educated at the University of Copenhagen in 2014. In my therapeutic work, I am driven by my curiosity about people and what they value and believe in. It is important to me that it is the your own descriptions and experiences that guide the sessions. To me, the client is always the expert.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
ACT: Acceptance and commitment therapyRecommended for those who want to stop fighting negative thoughts and learn how to live with more acceptance and focus on what really matters in life.
Narrative therapyRecommended for those who want to rewrite the way they view their life story and feel more empowered in their personal journey.

Sessions with me are based on what is on your mind and what is important for you to talk about. The first session I like to get an overview of your situation and what means the most to you for now. I never give advice or tools until I have an impression of you as a person, and not least an impression of your situation and your life story. It is important to me is that your feelings, descriptions and understandings are the base that we work from. Therefore, I ask a lot of questions to ensure that your experiences and understandings are in focus and are taken seriously. I offer online, individual therapy in both Danish and English.
