Lauren O’Hagan is a Creative Arts Therapist who offers a safe, supportive space through a client led, creative approach. She holds an MA in Dramatherapy and a diploma in therapeutically working with adolescents.
When not facilitating a therapy session Lauren can be found sea swimming, editing podcasts, writing or moving the body either in the gym or on the yoga mat.
As a Dramatherapist Lauren at times brings in creative elements to sessions such as art, the use of story and myth, somatic practices, self care tools and imaginative play. That being said, talking can be just as creative so this is welcome in the space Lauren creates for her clients.
Fully accredited with the Irish Association of Creative Arts Therapists (IACAT) Lauren takes responsibility for her supervision and ongoing therapeutic practice in order to hold a safe space for her clients.
Lauren offers a creative, client-led approach to therapy that invites individuals to explore their inner world at their own pace. Drawing on her training in Dramatherapy, creative arts, and somatic practices, she integrates art, story, movement, and body awareness to support clients in connecting more deeply with themselves.
Her work is grounded in a humanistic and heart-led philosophy, with the belief that each person has the capacity for healing, growth, and self-expression when met with compassion and authenticity. Lauren provides a safe and supportive space where clients can be curious, playful, reflective, and embodied—whether through creative tools, somatic practices, or meaningful conversation.
This integrative style allows therapy to unfold naturally and empowers clients to draw on both the wisdom of the body and the imagination.
