About me

English I'm Guillermina Carlomagno, a clinical psychologist graduated from the National University of Rosario (2017).

I started my career in a hospital in Argentina, in the rehabilitation unit, and then spent four years in private clinics, where I worked in comprehensive care settings and conducted intake interviews. There I encountered a wide range of issues: mood disorders, anxiety, eating disorders, emotional regulation, and relationship difficulties. I've always worked alongside psychiatrists, doctors, and nutritionists — an interdisciplinary approach that shaped how I understand mental health.

I've been practicing online since 2020. When I moved to Europe in 2022, I brought my practice with me. I lived in Spain, where I kept training and connecting with colleagues from different countries, sharing perspectives and learning from other ways of working. Since 2024, I live in Denmark. Since last year, I also offer clinical supervision for psychologists who are starting their practice.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
CBT: Cognitive behavioural therapyRecommended for those looking for practical support and accountability to change unhelpful thinking and behaviors.
Integrative therapy Recommended for those who prefer a flexible approach that combines different therapies to meet their unique needs.
Person-centred approachRecommended for those looking for a supportive, non-judgmental space where they can lead the conversation and explore their feelings at their own pace.

English Each person arrives with a different need. Some want to work on a specific problem and need clear tools to solve it. Others are looking for a more introspective or analytical space — somewhere to pause, explore their history, and understand the marks that still linger. My work adjusts to that. I don't start with a fixed idea of what therapy should look like.

I use psychoeducation frequently: I explain the biological, psychological, and neural processes behind the struggles we face. That knowledge — built through interdisciplinary work and the study of neuroscience — helps me understand how we function. But I always put it at the service of what's unique to each patient: their story, their becoming, their own marks.

Experience

I began my clinical training in 2017 at Hospital Baigorria (Santa Fe, Argentina), where I worked with patients undergoing physical rehabilitation. My role included clinical interviews, emotional support during recovery, and participation in interdisciplinary discussions regarding patient progress and treatment needs.

From 2018 to 2021, I worked as a clinical psychologist at Red Unitas in Rosario. There, I conducted admission interviews, collaborated with psychiatrists to evaluate and admit patients to specialized treatment programs, and provided psychotherapy for adults, particularly individuals experiencing anxiety-related problems. I also carried out neurocognitive assessments, designed personalized cognitive stimulation programs for patients with neurological conditions, and facilitated cognitive stimulation workshops as part of an interdisciplinary team.

In my private practice, I have been providing psychotherapy since 2018. Until 2021, I worked in person in Rosario, and in 2022 I transitioned to online therapy in the context of my own migration process. I currently offer both online and in-person therapy in Copenhagen. My clinical work focuses on adults dealing with anxiety, stress, life transitions, and emotional challenges related to personal growth and migration.

As complementary professional activities, I have designed and facilitated workshops on anxiety, created a psychology podcast, and developed written resources aimed at supporting emotional well-being.

Education

I studied Psychology at the National University of Rosario, completing a six-year program and graduating in 2017. I received further training at the Escuela de Orientación Lacaniana, where I participated in study groups and academic seminars. In 2020, I completed a specialization in Anxiety and Stress Disorders at Fundación Foro, with a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy focus. In 2021, I pursued additional training in ACT and Third-Wave therapies at Asociación PsiBe in Córdoba. My degree is currently recognized in Denmark, where it has been officially homologated by the Danish Board of Psychologists as equivalent to the title “psykolog.”
