I'm a psychologist graduated from the University of Business and Social Sciences (UCES), looking to start working in private practice this year, all under supervision. I have the desire to offer the needed space and companionship to those who may be going through experiences of anguish, grief, loneliness, or to those that may just want to talk and reflect.
Throughout the sessions (optimally once per week), we'll explore your history, your relationships and the way you relate to others, to yourself and to reality, through the technique of free association: you'll be able to speak your mind freely, which will let us open a window into your unconscious. From there, we'll work through symptoms, resistances, defense mechanisms and desires, in hopes to develop deeper insights into your internal conflicts. All to allow a more profound processing of emotions, and a healthier relationship with oneself, the people and the world around us.
The spirit, as it were, of the therapy I provide has not to do with pointing out the right way to walk on as to avoid the weeds, but to rather offer a light for you to grab the scythe and open a path through the wild fields and choose where to go, yourself.
