About me

I am a multilingual psychologist with a background in Child and Adolescent Psychology, working with adolescents, young adults, and adults across a range of emotional and relational difficulties.

I have always been inherently curious about people; what drives our thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, and what lies beneath the patterns we sometimes struggle with?

This curiosity has shaped both my professional path and the way I work with clients, allowing me to approach each person with genuine interest and openness.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Universitat Ramon Llull in Barcelona and a Master’s degree in Child and Adolescent Psychology from Leiden University. I am SKJ-registered and hold a LOGO verklaring. My professional experience includes working in specialised mental health care (SGGZ) with adults, as well as in clinical and developmental settings supporting children and families.

Over the years, I have worked with people from many different cultural and life backgrounds. Living and working in international environments has further strengthened my culturally sensitive and open approach, and deepened my understanding of how context and culture shape each person’s experience.

In my work, I aim to create a calm, reflective and safe space where clients feel understood and able to explore what they are going through. I value insight and the exploration of emotional and behavioural patterns, and I often work with clients to make complex experiences more understandable and manageable in daily life.

Therapy, for me, is a collaborative process where curiosity, understanding, and reflection come together to support meaningful change.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
CBT: Cognitive behavioural therapyRecommended for those looking for practical support and accountability to change unhelpful thinking and behaviors.
Humanistic psychologyRecommended for those looking for a therapy that emphasizes personal growth and self-fulfillment, focusing on becoming your best self in a positive, non-judgmental space.
Solution-focused therapyRecommended for those who want quick, practical solutions to their problems without focusing too much time on the past.

My therapeutic approach combines Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with a person-centered philosophy, with a strong focus on building a trusting therapeutic relationship. I prioritise empathy, warmth, and respect, allowing clients to guide the pace of therapy.

I see each client as a whole person within their broader context, taking into account individual experiences, relationships, and environmental influences that shape their wellbeing. My work focuses on understanding both underlying patterns and the practical challenges clients face in daily life.

While my work is grounded in evidence-based CBT strategies, I adapt my approach to each individual and may integrate other methods when appropriate. I collaborate with clients to set meaningful goals and explore the most helpful ways to work towards them, whether in a structured or more flexible way.
