I am a clinical psychologist with dual Luxembourgish and Portuguese backgrounds. I pursued my studies in Switzerland, where my career began as an ABA therapist, followed by experience in a hospital setting within the addiction treatment department. I have also worked extensively with children facing learning or developmental challenges (such as Autism and Asperger Syndrome) in schools and home environments. Currently, I work primarily as an independent clinical psychologist, supporting private clients and providing Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services for various companies.
Having lived in several countries, I have been fortunate to experience diverse cultures and traditions, which enriches my practice and enhances my understanding of clients from all backgrounds.
Beyond my work, I enjoy singing, reading, baking, and evening walks through the city. I'm passionate about languages and am currently learning Italian.
I like to approach my work with compassion, humor, authenticity and no judgement. The primary therapeutic approache I use is the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, most known under CBT. It is a highly effective and evidence-based approach that focuses on the connection between our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It provides individuals with practical tools to identify and challenge negative thought patterns, leading to healthier emotions and behaviors.
