The psychologist for people too busy to fall apart. I help high-achievers, expats, and professionals navigate burnout, identity shifts, and chronic stress toward a life that feels aligned.
I am Nusha. I work with people who are holding it all together on the outside and quietly unraveling on the inside.
I came to this work through a deep curiosity about how people adapt under pressure, through burnout, identity shifts, chronic illness, and the kind of transitions that leave little room to pause and reflect. Over the past fifteen years I have worked across medical systems, academic institutions, and private practice in the United States and Europe, supporting high-achievers, expats, and professionals navigating layered, complicated chapters.
What brings most people here is not one dramatic moment. It is the accumulation. The slow erosion of clarity, confidence, and internal direction that happens when life keeps demanding more than you have space to process.
My approach is integrative, direct, and deeply human. We balance emotional depth with practical support, moving between insight and action depending on what you need most.
If you are in a complicated chapter and ready for grounded, experienced support, I would be glad to work together.
Most therapy circles the problem. We go straight to it. My approach is clinical, integrative, and precision-driven. I draw from CBT, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing, applied with structure and tailored to where you are right now. I work from a biopsychosocial framework, looking at how your thoughts, emotions, body, relationships, and environment all interact. Nothing exists in isolation. Sessions are warm, direct, and actively engaged. We move quickly from insight to realignment, because understanding the problem is only the beginning. The goal is sustained alignment, not indefinite support. If that sounds like what you are looking for, I invite you to schedule a complimentary consultation.
My career did not start in a private practice office. It started in 2003 volunteering on a paediatric cancer ward, surrounded by children and families facing some of the hardest moments of their lives. That is where I learned what it really means to show up for someone. In 2006, I met with my first client and have been building on that foundation ever since.
Over 20 years I have worked across hospitals, integrated medical clinics, and specialty settings, working across at the intersection of chronic illness and mental health and trained medical providers on patient experience and care.
I have been running my private practice since 2021 in California, operating in the Netherlands since 2025, and I greatly enjoy supporting clients internationally. I maintain my original dream: a boutique psychology and advisory practice working at the intersection of clinical psychology, health psychology, and executive performance.
My clinical focus centers on high-achieving adults navigating burnout, identity strain, chronic stress, and the emotional weight of chronic illness. I also work with expats and international professionals managing the layered complexity of life transitions far from home.
Alongside direct client work, I teach and supervise future psychologists as adjunct faculty, consult with healthcare organizations, and deliver executive training and keynote speaking to leadership teams and medical providers worldwide.
