About me

My professional background is defined by supporting families in high-stakes hospital environments. During my tenure at Hospital Escuela, I designed and led a specialized psychological assistance program for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This role required immense ethical sensitivity as I facilitated grief counseling and support groups for parents facing infant loss and traumatic medical news. These experiences taught me how to provide "psychological first aid" and long-term coping strategies in settings where medical crisis and emotional distress intersect.Furthermore, my work as an independent psychologist involved over 300 hours of counseling and complex psychological assessments.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
CBT: Cognitive behavioral therapyRecommended for those looking for practical support and accountability to change unhelpful thinking and behaviors.
CounsellingRecommended for those who want to talk through their emotional challenges with a professional in a safe, supportive environment.
Existential analysisRecommended for those who are searching for deeper meaning in life or are struggling with big questions about existence, freedom, and purpose.
My practice is rooted in a humanistic approach, where I view each individual as capable of growth. I integrate elements of Gestalt therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Logotherapy to create a holistic and adaptable framework tailored to the unique needs of my clients. By combining these modalities, I help individuals gain deep insight into their internal thought patterns and emotional landscapes. My goal is not only to foster selfawareness but also to provide practical, evidence-based tools that empower clients to regulate their emotions and navigate the challenges of daily life with resilience. Clinical Focus & Expertise I apply this integrative approach across a diverse range of specializations, including: International Student Counseling: Supporting students through cultural adjustment, academic pressure, and the unique stresses of living abroad. Maternal Mental Health: Facilitating group therapy for mothers navigating postpartum depression, providing a safe space for healing and connection. Anxiety & Depression: Offering individualized counseling for teenagers and adults to help them understand and manage mood disorders. Crisis & Grief Support: Drawing on my experience in neonatal intensive care and hospital settings to support individuals through profound loss and life transitions. Through this compassionate and multifaceted lens, I aim to help my clients find meaning, balance, and the strength to manage their mental wellbeing effectively.
