Sometimes what we struggle with on the surface has deeper roots that are asking to be seen and understood.
I help you understand your relational patterns, break them, and create lasting change. You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out — we can start from wherever you are, at your own pace.
Hi, I’m Monica, a psychotherapist and UKCP counsellor with an integrative approach. I support individuals and couples through relationship challenges, emotional struggles, and feeling stuck, emotionally overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself or others.
Many clients come to me after years of therapy without seeing real change—and begin to experience deeper, lasting shifts they hadn’t been able to reach before. I work especially with individuals and couples who feel stuck in repeating patterns and are ready to create deeper, lasting change. This may show up in relationships as well as in how you relate to yourself, your emotions, and your life. Often, the people I work with have already done some inner work, yet still find themselves going through the same dynamics in their relationships. If you’re reading this and wondering whether to reach out, you’re welcome to — even a simple message is a good place to start.
I know what it feels like to be lost, disconnected, and overwhelmed. In my twenties, I faced multiple profound losses, including the death of my grandparents and a baby I had lost. I had no tools to process my grief and often suppressed my feelings with extreme cardio and busyness. I felt disconnected from my body, my emotions, and my life, surviving without truly sitting with my pain. I wish someone had said, “It’s going to be okay. I’ll carry the light until you can carry it yourself.” This is what I aim to offer in therapy: walking alongside you, holding space, and supporting you gently while you reclaim your inner light.
In our sessions, your body and the memories it holds guide us like a lighthouse, illuminating what needs to be seen and felt. I integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS), Family Constellations, Psychosynthesis, Sound-Vibrational Therapy, and relationship-focused methods. Together, we explore emotional, relational, and somatic layers of your experience, honoring all parts of you while helping you cultivate safety, clarity, and authentic connection.
I create a space where you can feel truly safe, seen, and supported. Each session is designed so you leave with practical tools to navigate life with greater ease, self-compassion, and awareness. I work in a way that combines depth with practical change, so what emerges in the session can translate into your everyday life. I love witnessing clients notice their own inner strength, honor their wounds, and access their innate capacity to heal. I hold the image of the lotus flower: growing from the mud while carrying its seed for blossoming—a reminder that even in the hardest circumstances, beauty, growth, and resilience can emerge.
I have over 14 years of experience working with clients of all ages, genders, sexual orientations, and cultural backgrounds. I specialize in couples and relationships, loss and bereavement (including abortion), transpersonal material, spirituality, high sensitivity, life transitions, addictions, sexuality and sexual issues, body image, self-esteem, inner child work, depression, anxiety, phobias, panic attacks, and PTSD.
I hold an MA in Psychosynthesis Psychology, trained at Middlesex University and the Institute of Psychosynthesis in London, and a degree in Cultural and Linguistic Mediation from Milan University. My professional strengths include warmth, attentive presence, listening without judgment, holding space for difficult emotions, and offering honest yet compassionate guidance. I am direct when clarity is needed and gentle when tenderness is required.
Whatever you are going through, you do not have to carry it alone. I will walk this path with you, gently guiding you through what you need to see and feel, helping you reconnect with your body, your mind, and your emotions. Together, we will uncover your resilience, access your inner resources, and nurture the parts of you that have been waiting to be seen and loved. My hope is that you leave each session feeling lighter, more empowered, and more in tune with your true self—ready to continue the journey of healing and transformation in your everyday life.
