I'm a dedicated psychologist with a rich and varied journey that shapes the way I attend to my clients. My academic path took me across three different universities in different Brazilian states, reflecting my curiosity and commitment to understanding diverse perspectives. During high school, I spent a transformative year on an exchange program in British Columbia, Canada, which broadened my cultural lens and deepened my appreciation for human connection. I earned my psychology degree from PUCRS and completed a focused program on APPOA, sharpening my skills with a blend of academic and philosophical interests and practical insight.
My professional experience is rooted in practice and careful observation it is built on internships at a Mental Health ambulatory, inside a Psychiatric Hospital, and at another public health system assistance, where I worked with diverse populations facing complex mental health challenges. For the past four years, I've been running my private practice with a phisycal address in the beautiful city of Garopaba, Santa Catarina, Brazil, offering a space where patients can explore struggles and talk about what might be harming them.
My therapeutic style is deeply influenced by Lacanian Psychoanalysis, emphasizing the interplay of language, desire, and the unconscious in shaping one's subjective experience. I approach each subject and each session with a space where what is said, and what is not, gives clues to what structures their inner world. My aim is not to impose meaning or to guarantee a fast result, but to facilitate and accompany one's search towards truth and a meaningful life.
