A lifelong student and practitioner of depth and the mythopoetic connection to life, I received my B.A. in the study of the world’s spiritual arts and religious cultures, at UCSB, and went on to receive my M. A. in counseling psychology and my Ph.D. in clinical psychology — both with an emphasis in depth psychology — from Pacifica Graduate Institute. My education and training focused within the psychoanalytic schools of Jungian, archetypal, and relational wisdom; following the path of psyche, and guided by the wisdom of the unconscious. I bring over 20 years of experience in the field of depth psychology — navigating the various stories of life, as well as the symbolic stories of psyche, through dreamwork, symbolic and imaginal expression — to the practice of living deeply.
This practice does not operate under the clinical framework of assessment, diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders. Live Deeply is a depth practice for soul seekers, who, rather than seeking to eliminate challenges or discomfort, are called to lean in to recognize and navigate the various invitations from psyche — in their lives, symptoms and patterns — to reclaim full possession of their own essential being.
Recognizing the various ways in which these elements continually interact with our own lives—through symbolic reflection, dreamwork and synchronicities—we are able to find our own reflection in the greater stories living through and around us, and expand and enliven our understanding of the individual journey.
By enlisting the various symbolic reflections of psyche alongside your depth journey, we are able to go deeper to support and guide a more conscious experience of Self, and empower you toward your own greatest story.
