I am a licensed psychological psychotherapist in Germany with more than 11 years of clinical experience currently living in the US. Over the years I have worked with many people going through difficult or confusing periods in their lives and what continues to inspire me most about this work is the opportunity to truly meet people where they are and support them in finding their own way forward.
For me therapy is first and foremost about creating a space where you can feel safe enough to speak openly about what is really going on in your life. Many people come to therapy carrying a lot of pressure, self-doubt or emotional pain. My goal is to offer a place where you feel genuinely listened to, understood and accepted without judgment. I believe that when people feel seen and respected, meaningful change can begin.
Throughout my career I have worked with a wide range of psychological concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress and burnout, relationship difficulties, family conflicts, eating disorders and issues around self-esteem or life transitions. I approach every person with curiosity, respect and the belief that each individual already carries important strengths and resources within themselves.
Living abroad myself has also deepened my understanding of how life transitions, cultural changes or living between different countries, can influence our emotional well-being. At the same time my work is not limited to these topics. I work with many different kinds of psychological challenges and always try to adapt therapy to the individual person and their unique life situation.
