As a clinical psychologist and coach, I provide a safe space for you to reflect on your current situation, uncover obstacles and together we will develop tools for you to work past them and reach your goals.
Originally from Germany, I moved to the Netherlands to study Psychology and specialised in the two fields I'm most fascinated with: Clinical Psychology and Work, Personnel and Organisational Psychology. Throughout my degrees I discovered my passion for coaching and counselling and during my work at a mental health clinic in Germany I focused on anxiety, depression and burnout. As an expat, having lived, worked and studied in Australia, Spain and the Netherlands, I know the struggles that come with settling in a foreign country and adapting to a new culture.
First and foremost, I believe that the client should encounter a safe, non-judgmental and accepting space full of empathy to be able to open up and reflect. During my sessions, I make use of a variety of elements and techniques from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness practice. My approach is client-centred which means that I adapt my treatment style to each client depending on their needs and goals.
My sessions are 50 minutes long and I offer them in English and German.
