About me

I’ve spent the past few years working with individuals, couples, and families navigating relationship challenges, emotional struggles, and life transitions. My work is shaped by a deep interest in understanding how our experiences, attachments, and patterns influence the way we think, feel, and connect with others. I’m someone who values emotional depth and genuine connection, and I try to bring that into the therapy space. Alongside my professional training in evidence-based approaches such as ACT and REBT, I focus on creating a space that feels safe, non-judgmental, and real—where clients don’t feel like they have to “perform” or have everything figured out. I often work with concerns such as grief, depression, anxiety, and relationship difficulties, helping clients make sense of what they’re going through at their own pace. Over time, I’ve found myself drawn to working with grief and relationship dynamics, especially through the lens of attachment styles. Whether it’s understanding patterns in relationships, navigating emotional disconnection, or processing loss, I work with clients to build awareness, shift patterns, and move toward more grounded and meaningful ways of relating—to themselves and to others.

You may resonate with this if: – You feel something is missing, but can’t quite name it – You find yourself overthinking or replaying situations – Your relationships feel confusing, draining, or different than before – You feel emotionally overwhelmed or internally unsettled – Something from your past has started affecting you more recently – You feel disconnected, empty, or unsure about yourself

If you’re looking to understand yourself more deeply—not just cope, but make sense of your experiences—this could be a supportive space for you.

My approach to therapy is collaborative, flexible, and tailored to what you need at different points in your journey. In the first few sessions, we focus on understanding your current concerns, personal history, and patterns—this helps us build clarity around what you’re experiencing and what you’d like to work toward. As we continue, sessions may involve a mix of exploring emotions, identifying patterns, and building practical tools. For example, if you’re dealing with depression, we may work on understanding cycles of withdrawal, low motivation, or negative thinking, while also introducing small, manageable shifts in your daily routine to create momentum. If anxiety or overthinking is present, I help you recognize triggers, understand underlying patterns, and develop ways to respond to thoughts and emotions more calmly and effectively. I also bring in an attachment-focused lens, especially when working with relationship concerns. This means we explore how your past experiences and emotional needs may be shaping the way you connect, communicate, or react in relationships. In couple and family sessions, this often involves slowing down communication, identifying recurring patterns, and working toward more understanding, clarity, and emotional safety. In terms of techniques, I draw from approaches like ACT and REBT, along with mindfulness-based practices. This may include helping you observe your thoughts without getting overwhelmed by them, challenge unhelpful beliefs, and stay more present in difficult moments. Overall, my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable exploring your experiences, while also supporting you in making practical and meaningful changes that carry into your everyday life.

Experience

8 years in practice

I have experience working as a mental health professional with individuals, couples, and families across a range of emotional and psychological concerns. My recent work has focused on supporting clients with grief, depression, anxiety, and relationship challenges, helping them understand patterns, process emotions, and build healthier ways of coping and relating. In my work, I have supported clients navigating life transitions, emotional overwhelm, attachment-related concerns, and interpersonal difficulties. I also work with parents around child-parent interactions, helping them understand emotional needs, improve communication, and build more secure and supportive relationships with their children. Alongside my clinical practice, I have experience working with psychological assessments and child guidance, which has strengthened my understanding of developmental and behavioral aspects. My overall experience reflects an integrative and client-centered approach, focused on both emotional insight and practical change.

Education

I have completed my Postgraduate Certification in Couple & Family Therapy from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) in 2025, which has strengthened my understanding of relationship dynamics, attachment patterns, and systemic approaches to therapy. I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology from IGNOU (2019), along with an Advanced Diploma in Child Guidance (RCI) from JNV University (2023) and a Diploma in Community Mental Health from NIMHANS (2024). My training also includes the PROMPT Action Program from NIMHANS and Reiki Level 1 & 2. My academic and clinical training reflect an integrative approach, allowing me to work across individual, couple, and family contexts with a strong foundation in both psychological theory and applied practice.
