Hello, I am Marcela, a psychologist trained in Argentina, resident in the Netherlands and with a Master's degree in Social and Health Management and Intervention completed in Spain.
Passionate about reading, travelling, enjoying the outdoors and engaging in meaningful conversations.
I have been practicing my profession since 2004, supporting people through a wide range of emotional and psychological concerns.
Since 2013, when I emigrated to the Netherlands, I have been working with expatriates and immigrants, which has developed a deep understanding of the challenges related to expatriation, multiculturalism, uprooting, grief and life transitions.
I have worked in different social and community institutions with the aim of developing practical tools that help people improve their well-being and quality of life.
In Argentina, I taught at the National University of Rosario and UCES, where I not only taught but also supervised and advised students. My academic involvement included participation in several research projects and the presentation of clinical findings at professional conferences. This focus on research and continuous learning has allowed me to evolve, refine and improve my practice as a psychologist.
As a clinical psychologist, I am committed to providing a safe, compassionate and non-judgmental space.
In our sessions, you will find a confidential and empathetic environment where your thoughts, feelings and experiences are treated with the utmost respect.
For me, therapy goes beyond simply alleviating symptoms. Together, we will explore the root causes of your challenges and develop sustainable coping strategies that foster personal growth, positive change, and greater autonomy
I offer counseling both in person and in online sessions, ensuring flexibility and accessibility.
