About me
1983 in Hamburg geboren, habe ich nach einigen Jahren als Lehrerin an einer Hamburger Schule mein Grundstudium der Psychologie an der University of Chester (England) und im Anschluss meinen Master in klinischer Psychologie und Psychotherapie an der Medizinischen Hochschule Brandenburg abgeschlossen. Ergänzend habe ich eine dreijährige Therapieausbildung in systemischer Therapie am IST Berlin durchlaufen
🇬🇧 I’m a 40-year-old clinical psychologist from Hamburg. I’ve studied psychology in England (University of Chester) and clinical psychology in Germany (Medizinische Hochschule Brandenburg). I’m a systematic therapist (SG) and currently undergoing further training in internal family system therapy. Being especially interested in relationships, I love working with couples, families, single parents, etc.. Being a former teacher, I also offer counselling for teachers. Besides that, I am available to provide counselling and therapy services to clients facing a wide range of challenges and mental health concerns. I am working with clients in German as well as in English in both my practice in Hamburg-Blankenese and online.

In meiner therapeutischen Arbeit wende ich vielfältige systemische Methoden an. Am wichtigsten ist mir allerdings, mein Gegenüber zu verstehen und nach den guten Gründen für dysfunktionales Verhalten, verworrene Beziehungen und Symptome zu forschen. Dies Verstehen bildet meines Erachtens die Grundlage für eine tragfähige Vertrauensbeziehung und für Veränderungsprozesse.
