After a life-long interest in psychotherapy and a career in writing and advertising, I took up my training in psychotherapy in 2015 and have been working in this field ever since. My initial training was in breathworks (Atemzentrierte Psychotherapie), an approach that seeks to process challenging emotional states through the wisdom of the body.
I finished a three-years' course in talk therapy and have been studying neuropsychological approaches, e.g. emTrace Emotionscoaching and Mimikresonanz, in recent years. I also apply Eye Spotting, a progressive version of EMDR.
Owing to my Intercultural Studies at Hildesheim University and the University of Glasgow, I have a solid foundation of Intercultural Communication and the capacity to extend my knowledge to the particularities of your culture if required.
I regard my clients as capable adults who have all the resources they need to face the challenges in their lives. But when times get rough, every one of us can lose their connection to our inner strength. My approach is to remind you of who you were before and guide you along the way back to the surface.
Every human story is different and so will be our journey together.
