About me

currently on vacations until 28/8/25, will answer messages after that

I'm a German psychologist and couples therapist, working online while living across several places that feel like home. Having spent the past few years in different countries, I understand how difficult it can be to form and sustain meaningful relationships while adjusting to new cultures and environments. This personal experience shapes my work deeply.

I support individuals navigating relationship doubts, breakups, emotional patterns, or a longing for more clarity and connection. In our sessions, I blend evidence-based methods with warmth, mindfulness, and curiosity. Clients often describe me as compassionate, present, and grounded.

Whether you're feeling stuck, lost, or simply want to better understand yourself in love, I’m here to walk alongside you—with empathy, presence, and genuine interest in your story.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
ACT: Acceptance and commitment therapyRecommended for those who want to stop fighting negative thoughts and learn how to live with more acceptance and focus on what really matters in life.
Couples therapySupport for couples working through problems and who want to gain insight into the relational dynamics that contribute to the problem.
EFT: Emotionally focused therapyRecommended for couples or individuals who want to strengthen emotional connections in relationships by exploring feelings and attachment.
MindfulnessMindfulness is the process of maintaining a purposeful moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, and surrounding environment.
Schema therapyRecommended for those who want to break out of negative patterns or "schemas" that they developed early in life and keep repeating.

For Individuals Many clients come to me with relationship doubts—unsure whether to stay, leave, or how to make sense of their conflicting feelings. You may be asking yourself: Is this the right relationship for me? Am I expecting too much—or not enough?

I support individuals navigating these questions with clarity and self-compassion. My approach is pluralistic and integrative, grounded in evidence-based methods such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Schema Therapy. We work together to understand recurring emotional patterns, clarify values, and gently explore the fears or beliefs that may be shaping your choices.

I focus on what is happening in the past and present to help you become more aware of your interpretations, needs, and inner conflicts. I believe you are the expert on your life—I offer tools, reflection, and a warm space where you can meet yourself with honesty and care. Mindfulness and self-compassion are often woven into the process.

For Couples I support couples facing a wide range of relationship challenges—from ongoing conflict and disconnection to navigating life transitions or addressing painful doubts about the future of the relationship.

I work with Sue Johnson’s Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), a research-based approach that helps couples understand the emotions and unmet needs behind their patterns. Whether you're stuck in recurring arguments or drifting apart in silence, we identify the cycles that keep you from feeling close and safe with each other.

In sessions, I guide you through new conversations—ones marked by vulnerability, empathy, and a deeper understanding of one another. Together, we work on rebuilding trust, enhancing emotional connection, or gaining clarity on the next steps in your relationship.
