If you've ever found yourself wondering, "Where do I go from here?" or "How did I end up taking care of all this?" the prospect of doing anything more than just getting through the day can seem daunting.
Whether you're trying to navigate life, work and the school system in a foreign country, doing the practical and emotional heavy lifting for a family member with physical or mental health difficulties, or have just lost sight of who you are and who you want to be, you don't have to carry it all on your own.
Having someone who doesn't need anything from you to listen and help you sort through you own emotions, so that when you're ready, you can move forward with clarity and intention is invaluable.
I know, because I've been there.
As a licenced non-medical practitioner of psychotherapy (Heilpraktikerin für Psychotherapie), I can work with you if you're struggling with depression, anxiety, burnout or other psychological conditions without any of this appearing on your medical records unless you want it to.
But you don't need a diagnosis to see me.
I'm also a qualified systemic counsellor which means that I'll look at you as a whole person, and the context of your life as it really is. Because let's face it, if you needed some well-meaning tips or generic advice, you have friends or the internet for that.
If you decide to put your trust in me, you'll have all of my professional training, creativity and life experience at your disposal to help you find solutions that work specifically for you.
My style is warm, curious, sometimes gently challenging and with a touch of humour.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked in the IT industry in teams that crossed time zones and cultures. I also qualified as a Montessori educator and had the privilege of guiding children aged 3-6 and their families.
I’m married and live in Heidelberg with two almost grown-up children.
