"I'm Dimitris, a clinical psychologist employing a comprehensive toolkit to empower individuals in navigating life's complexities. My primary approach, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), rooted in scientific research, equips you with specific skills to address challenges like anxiety, depression, social phobias, eating disorders, sleeping problems, trauma-related situations, OCD, relationships, and professional obstacles. In general, CBT holds that the way we perceive events affects our emotions and behaviour. CBT aims to help people identify negative thoughts and beliefs that may be causing them distress or difficulties, and then develop new, healthier thoughts and behaviours. Therapists who use CBT work with their clients to analyze the negative thoughts and behaviors that are affecting them and develop strategies for dealing with them. The goal is to improve the individual's mental health and provide them with tools to manage their challenges in the future. Additionally, I integrate Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, and various techniques from other modalities. I'm dedicated to creating a safe and inclusive space where nobody has to feel alone in facing life's challenges. I'm driven by the profound importance of helping people find their voice, connect with their inner strength, and lead happier, healthier lives. My mission is to guide you towards emotional regulation and overall well-being. Contact me to embark on a transformative journey towards a more balanced and joyful life."
