About me
I am trained clinical psychologist conducting psychodynamic/psychoanalytic psychotherapy with young adults and adults. I have both personal experiences of cross-cultural challenges and working experience with international clients. I particularly work with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, loss and grief, relational problems, self esteem and emotion regulation problems.

Everyone has a different emotional make-up. I believe our previous relationships shape the way we perceive ourselves, the world and the others. As we grow older we have a tendency to repeat the patterns that were constructed during early childhood. Recognizing recurring patterns and their function in emotional make up is transformative.
As a psychodynamic psychotherapist I focus on underlying roots of emotional suffering. My aim is not only to alleviate obvious symptoms but also to create a capacity for self-reflection, to evoke self-curiosity, to diversify psychological coping mechanism and to develop insight.
I focus on deeper level changes that are fundamental to relational difficulties. I believe examining emotional blind spots and understanding relational patterns provide a deeper understanding of oneself through which losing their functional aspects acute symptoms disappear in time. My approach is based on exploring and understanding unique needs and concerns of each individual. I provide a facilitative and holding environment for self-exploration, insight and transformation.
The therapeutic relationship is a mirror that can demonstrate how the person interacts outside of the therapy. I intend to be a companion in your journey the agenda of which is going to be determined by you.
