I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Istanbul Bilim University, followed by a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Üsküdar University. Throughout my academic journey, I gained knowledge and experience in various areas such as psychotherapy, psychological testing, individual and group therapies. I had the opportunity to enhance my professional skills by working with individuals from different age groups and psychological backgrounds in both private hospitals and public institutions.
In my professional career, I have focused especially on addiction treatment, psychosocial support services for women, and child-family relationships. My field experience at institutions such as the Green Crescent Counseling Center and KADEM has equipped me with a solid foundation in making appropriate crisis interventions and developing an empathetic and solution-focused approach. By taking on responsibilities such as trainer and project coordinator, I have also strengthened my communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
As a dedicated and attentive professional who believes in the instructive power of working with people and is open to continuous learning, I strive to develop effective, ethical, and evidence-based practices that support mental well-being. With a collaborative mindset and a strong emphasis on knowledge sharing, I aim to make a positive contribution to any team or environment I work in.
I strive to structure the therapeutic process by providing a safe and non-judgmental environment that allows the client space for self-exploration. I believe in creating a personalized therapy plan for each individual, taking into account their unique background and life story. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), tailoring the methods to the specific needs of each client.
I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the cornerstone of effective therapy. Therefore, while supporting clients in exploring their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors, I also aim to help them activate their inner resources. In working with issues such as trauma, addiction, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, anxiety, and depression, my goal is to support clients in recognizing their own potential and taking an active role in their journey toward change.
