About me

After completing his high school education at Şehremini Anatolian High School, İbrahim Özcanlı graduated from Istanbul Beykent University, Department of Psychology, with a full scholarship, as an Honor Student. Later, he started his master's degree at Üsküdar University and completed his specialization in Clinical Psychology (with thesis). İbrahim Özcanlı, who did his internship at the French Lape Hospital, Bakırköy Psychiatric Hospital, Küçükçekmece Community Mental Health Center during his undergraduate education, also participated in many National Congresses and seminars, and served as the Club President at Beykent University Psychology Club. In this process, it aimed to contribute to this field with training and seminars offered to nearly 20,000 professionals working in the field of Mental Health.

He started his career at the Re-Health and Education Association in 2013 and later worked at the Psychotherapist Training and Counseling Center. In 2015, he completed the Sexual Therapy and Family Couple Therapy training at the Institute of Sexual Therapy Educational Sciences and served in this field for 2 years. In 2017, he worked as the Head of the Career Unit of Beykent University, and since 2018 he has been accepting his clients within the body of Köksal Education and Consultancy.

During his master's degree, he did his internship at Np Feneryolu Clinic and NP Istanbul Brain Hospital. In this process, he wrote his graduation thesis on Self-Compassion and Life Satisfaction, which are among the most important concepts in 3rd Generation Therapies.

As a speaker, he took part in Psychology Summits in more than 20 cities in 7 regions of Turkey. He has been in the Bilgen Therapy Institute, founded by psychiatrist İbrahim Bilgen for about 2 years, and received training on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and was supervised by Garo Topuzoğlu.
