I have a Master of Arts Diploma in Clinical Psychology and during my training I have specialized on working with children and adolescents and I follow a psychodynamic approach while doing so. I also offer counseling sessions for parents and psychoteraphy sessions for young adults.
I am also a 3-6 Early Years Montessori Educator and in an ongoing training of being a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner.
I offer in person sessions with children and adolescents.
I start the therapy process with few assessment sessions and then a feedback session with parents where I explain my views of the possible reasons for their referral. I mostly work with emotional problems and symptoms that children have. In therapy sessions I use psychodynamic play therapy to help children explore their emotions and gain self-agency. I keep the parents in the process and work with them too by having parent sessions around once in a month (this period can be longer or shorter depending on the needs of the child and the parents).
With adolescents I start the process individually with them and include parents as much as adolescent feels comfortable to.
