As an English speaking clinical psychologist of over 10 years of experience with children, adolescents and parents, I offer pyschoterapeutic support to families.
I have been involved in the child mental health field for many years, have experience in working with trauma, autism, school setting and private practice. I have been interested in body related work, therefore I have participated in dance therapy workshops, kinesiology studies as well as Somatic Experience. My main focus is child and adolescent mental health and parent counseling. I have garnered extensive knowledge in a holistic view of child mental health development by both working in private practice and school settings. I have always been an advocate of a holistic perspective in child development. Not one aspect can be singled out related to children, but it sure takes a village to raise a healthy and happy child.
I have a psychodynamic background when approaching therapy. I work with play therapy for younger children and mostly face to face verbal therapy with older children and adolescents as well as parents. I have also experience in art therapy and dance movement therapy approaches and try to utilize these techniques when it is seem to be applicable to each case. I have also worked with trauma, both in the field after local disasters as well as in private practice. I am currently in training for becoming a Somatic Experience Practitioner. Evaluating each case individually, I try to come up with an eclectic approach tailored for each case.
