About me

From a very young age, I was captivated by human behavior. I would observe, wonder, and try to understand the deeper motives behind people's actions and emotions. At the same time, I noticed that others—often even those who barely knew me—felt safe opening up to me. This natural inclination toward connection and deep understanding eventually led me to study Psychology.

My interest in the human psyche has not been purely academic or theoretical. It has also stemmed from personal experiences, inner explorations, and challenges that pushed me to seek a deeper understanding of myself.

These experiences further strengthened my desire to support individuals who choose to explore themselves and work through their difficulties in a space of respect, honesty, and safety. I believe that every person is unique—like a book—and each session is a distinct page in the story of their life. I am here to walk alongside you on this unique path of inner growth. Professional Background

I hold a degree in Psychology from the University of Crete and have been a licensed psychologist since 2015 (License No.: 2-05-2015). After completing my undergraduate studies, I pursued additional training in Social Clinical Psychology of Addictions and Educational Counseling for Children and Adolescents at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

I later earned a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Hellenic American University, with a specialization in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I have completed a four-year CBT training program at the Institute for Behavioral Research & Therapy (ΙΕΘΣ), and received further certification in the assessment and treatment of eating disorders (KEADD).

My professional experience includes working in the "Orfeas" residential facility for people with chronic mental illnesses (Larisas), and as a psychologist at the Chronic Disease Treatment Center in Trikala. During my postgraduate studies, I also worked in customer service and sales, which enriched my understanding of human interaction and everyday life challenges.

As part of my clinical training, I provided psychological support and brief psychotherapy services at the Municipality of Ilioupoli.

Currently, I work privately as a Psychologist-Psychotherapist and collaborate with Roots Wellness Center, primarily using CBT while also incorporating techniques from other therapeutic models to meet the needs of each individual.

My main areas of interest and specialization include anxiety and stress management, eating disorders, obsessive compulsive, pregnancy, career-related challenges, expats, depression, emotional difficulties, and the personal journey of self-discovery.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
CBT: Cognitive behavioural therapyRecommended for those looking for practical support and accountability to change unhelpful thinking and behaviors.

I choose to work with CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) because it offers practical tools and structured techniques that empower individuals to understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. CBT is often seen as a structured and solution-focused approach, but it is far from superficial. What draws me to it is its ability to explore the deeper roots of how a person has learned to think, feel, and behave in certain ways. By understanding these learned patterns, CBT helps individuals gain insight into themselves and build healthier, more adaptive ways of relating to their inner and outer world. I appreciate how it helps people develop new coping strategies, shift unhelpful patterns, and make meaningful changes in their everyday lives. I also integrate techniques from other therapeutic approaches in order to offer a more personalized and flexible process tailored to each individual's unique needs. I often incorporate elements from third-wave CBT models such as Mindfulness-based approaches, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Schema Theory. This integrative way of working allows me to meet clients where they are and support them more holistically.
