I am a licensed professional counselor candidate currently practicing in person in Montana. However, I moved to the United States from Poland when I was a child so I have a close desire to work with Polish clients as well as I speak both English and Polish. Before beginning my journey as a counselor I worked in a wilderness therapy program and in the medical field as a trained EMT. Through my work experience I have gained an understanding of a variety of populations including children and their families, couples, and individuals with addiction struggles or difficult social dynamics.
In my personal life I enjoy getting out into nature, hence my current location. I love to rock climb, ski, and go on hikes with my dog while listening to the latest Lucy Foley thriller. I would love to meet your animals during our virtual sessions! Please to not hesitate to reach out if you think we could be a good fit.
I believe in the power of establishing concrete short-and-long term goals. My approach is trauma-informed and I have experience in solution-focused therapy (SFT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), narrative therapy, and bibliotherapy. I also like to use expressive arts therapy with children and those who are interested in a different perspective.
All persons are welcome in my space, and I look forward to establishing a relationship with any new prospective clients. If what I said above feels like it may be the right fit for you or your child, please reach out for a session.
