About me

I’m Celine — a Clinical Psychologist (M.Sc.) with a background in Clinical Psychology and Neuroscience, specializing in neurodiversity, autism, and ADHD. My interest in autism extends beyond my professional work. Growing up with an autistic parent, I experienced firsthand the challenges, misunderstandings, and emotional strain that can arise when people perceive and experience the world differently. At the same time, I witnessed how much connection, relief, and growth are being created when these differences are understood and respected. During my studies in Clinical Psychology and Neuroscience in Freiburg, I began specializing in autism and neurodevelopmental differences. Today, I work in autism assessment and support neurodivergent children, adolescents, adults, and parents of autistic children. As a co-author of a scientific study on decision-making, I also gained valuable research experience that continues to inform my work. My vision is to help neurodivergent people recognize that they are not broken or deficient. I support individuals and families in understanding their unique ways of thinking, feeling, and experiencing the world, while building greater self-understanding, confidence, and practical strategies for everyday life. My approach combines scientific expertise with a compassionate, holistic perspective that honors both individual differences and human potential.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
CBT: Cognitive behavioral therapyRecommended for those looking for practical support and accountability to change unhelpful thinking and behaviors.
Holistic approachRecommended for those who want to address their mental health through a balanced focus on mind, body, and spirit.
Systemic ApproachRecommended for those who want to look at how different systems—like family, work, or society—affect their behavior and relationships.
My approach is holistic, individualized, and strengths-based. I work from a neurodiversity-affirming perspective and support people in understanding themselves more deeply, recognizing their needs, and creating lives that genuinely fit to whom they are. I work particularly with neurodivergent individuals and parents of autistic children around topics such as: • Autism & ADHD • Identity and self-understanding • Autistic burnout, overwhelm, and exhaustion • Anxiety, stress, and emotional challenges • Self-esteem and self-acceptance • Relationships, communication, and masking (camouflaging) • Parenting and family life Many of my clients have spent years feeling misunderstood, "too much," or fundamentally different from others. Together, we explore their unique strengths, challenges, and needs while developing practical strategies that support everyday life. My work integrates psychological and neuroscientific knowledge with psychoeducation, acceptance-based approaches, emotional awareness, and practical tools for navigating neurodivergent life. I aim to create a safe, collaborative space where people feel understood rather than judged. My goal is not to change anyone, but to help them build greater self-understanding, self-acceptance, flexibility, and confidence in living authentically as themselves and in their uniqueness.
