My clinical practice is dedicated to providing accessible, culturally sensitive support. During my residency at Utrecht University and my work with the MoodLift platform, I transitioned from theory to practice by conducting intake assessments and providing care for individuals navigating social anxiety, loss, and depression. I specialize in integrating CBT and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), turning evidence-based protocols into practical tools that help clients build the psychological flexibility needed to engage with the world more freely.
I have a profound passion for supporting the international and expat community. As a trilingual psychologist (English, Indonesian, and Dutch), I understand the unique stressors of living between cultures. To address this, I launched the Wellbeing Check-Up Program for the PPI student organization, providing a safe space for those facing culture shock, isolation, and burnout. Additionally, my work with @Ease sharpened my skills in early intervention, offering low-threshold support to young adults in moments of acute distress or social withdrawal.
My perspective is also informed by a deep understanding of the entire lifespan. Through my years with Emile Thuiszorg and Stichting Alzheimer Indonesia, I supported elderly clients and their families through the transitions of aging, grief, and cognitive decline.
