I'm in my late thirties, and I offer one to one therapy for adults aged 18+
Before becoming a therapist, I worked in the creative industries for many years, and enjoyed travelling, working and meeting with people from all different walks of life.
As an Englishman living in Germany, I understand the challenges and joys of being an expat in a foreign land.
I do a number of body based practices, including martial arts, yoga, meditation and dance, and I bring all of myself to the work that I do.
In my work as a Body-Oriented Counsellor I draw on a number of therapeutic approaches including: Body Psychotherapy, Relational Psychoanalysis, Gestalt and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Jungian Depth Psychology, Shamanism, Martial Arts and Mindfulness Meditation. The end result is that I aim to work at real depth, helping people to address their problems at a core, existential level.
In my practice I create a safe space for my clients to dive deeply inside of themselves, meeting the challenges that life offers them in order to discover what it really means to live this life with integrity, passion and purpose. As the old saying goes "The cave you fear to enter contains your greatest treasue" - and I am here to support and stand alongside you while you make this transformative journey.
There is a real lack of confidential spaces for men to come and explore their problems, and this is something I feel a strong calling to address. I help men to bring together their strength and their vulnerability, their mental focus and their emotional awareness - so that they can bring all of who they are to their work, their relationships and their community.
