At the heart of my work is a simple intention: to invite you to relate to yourself with kindness, and to find a sense of peace, with your story, your body, and who you are.
Born and raised in central Portugal, Leiria will always feel like home.
Naturally curious and gently restless, I’ve come to see stepping beyond the comfort zone as an essential part of getting to know ourselves more deeply. It’s in those moments of movement and discovery that we begin to understand who we are.
With a free and open spirit, I’ve experienced both the stillness and the intensity of the different places where I’ve lived and worked. Each of them has shaped me, challenging me, teaching me, and helping me grow.
My interest in Psychology and Psychoanalysis began early in life, driven by a desire to understand people more deeply, their needs, their inner worlds, their struggles, but also their potential and their beauty. Supporting others in their journey towards self-understanding and emotional well-being soon became not just a path, but a calling.
My work is grounded in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, integrated with approaches that allow me to adapt to each person’s unique needs. At the heart of my practice is the therapeutic relationship, a space where you can feel safe, heard, and understood.
I aim to support you in making sense of whatever may be bringing you distress or discomfort. Together, we gently explore your story, your experiences, and the meaning behind them, always in a space free from judgment. From there, we can begin to understand where you come from and, at your own pace, where you would like to go.
Over the years, I have worked across different settings, including social support institutions, public schools, private practice, rehabilitation centres for addictive behaviours and dependencies, integrated long-term care units, and hospital services within the NHS (UK National Health Service).
I have worked with children and adolescents, although my current clinical work is focused exclusively on adults.
Moved by strong humanitarian values, I have also been involved in volunteer projects both in Portugal and abroad, including in Newcastle upon Tyne (UK) and Ghana.
