About me
I'm psychotherapist of adults and adolescents, according to the Integrated Brief Psychotherapy model of the Portuguese Society of Brief Psychotherapies. My professional practice has been developed in two axes that, although distinct, they complement each other, psychologist, psychotherapist and trainer since 1996. Also main Psychotherapist Trained and Supervisor of psychotherapists and psychologists in training, or in the exercise of their clinical practice, monitoring, guiding and discussing clinical cases of supervisees.

Approach
I´m a senior psychotherapist from Lisbon. My approach is in brief psychotherapy according to the Integrated Model of the Brief Psychotherapies Portuguese Society . This means we work on a psychodynamic basis integrating the existential phenomenological perspective.
We give importance to the individual's past as well as their present experiences and their existence in their worldview.
In a very summarized way, in our methodology we use the focus, the work on Balint's basic gap, the therapeutic relationship and alliance and Ricoueur's double hermeneutic arc.
